This is the question many web designers fear hearing, yet it is a change so often requested by a client undertaking a new design for their website. The frequency of its request is so much that not only has it become an industry in-joke but has also spurred responses like the spoof video 'Make my Logo Bigger Cream'. But if the issue is so widespread then is this the fault of the design community rather than the clients who employ their services?
At Bronco we’re proud to be based in the beautiful city of Ripon and it was for this reason that we built and launched Ripon Internet over 10 years ago, redesigning it again in 2006. Since that time the site has grown to be a valuable resource for much of the community, and after 5 years it seemed appropriate to inject some new life into the site.
At Bronco we produce a wide range of websites from large e-commerce shops to small brochureware websites like the newly launched Lateral Investments. The challenge of working on various kinds of websites is one of the reasons why we love what we do.
“Teamwork is a necessary component in creating not only a visually stunning website but also one that effectively meets both the needs of your business and your customers.”
The above statement is taken from a brand new document we’ve developed to help our prospective clients understand the value of maintaining a good working relationship and how to avoid some of the common issues that can negatively impact both this relationship and their website.
At Bronco we are constantly trying to keep up with the ever changing standards prevalent on the web today; one such approach we’re currently adopting is that of responsive design. In the past we would design a website to suit a specific monitor size, most recently the standard being 1024x768, but with the rise of mobile and tablet devices such an approach has imposed certain limitations.
The UK is a very popular choice of holiday destination, and we have recently launched a new website for a stunning self-catering holiday cottage in Cornwall, in an area called West Penwith, within easy reach of Gwenver beach and Sennen. The cottage is situated just a few miles from Lands' End and you will not only enjoy the stunning views and coastline, but also the great British weather too.
Today marks 8 years since Bronco began, under the ownership and direction of Dave & Becky, to become the company you now know today. Beginning life as a two man team in a back office, Bronco has grown to 17 staff in a dedicated office with yet more plans to expand in 2011.
Yesterday we published news of a new website going live for a child minder and today the news is of a brand new site for UK Kitchens. This sees the launch of the sister site to the very successful UK Bathrooms which was originally launched in 2007 by Bronco.
We have just launched a brand new website for a child minder in Hartlepool who approached us after realising that she needed to have a good web presence in order to attract new customers, in an increasingly competitive sector.
