The Old Deanery Hotel and Restaurant Gets a New Look

There is a fabulous restaurant in Ripon that we often go to with friends, staff and clients and we have known the owners for a very long time. We have spent many great times at the Old Deanery and thought that we could use our talents to produce a website for them that really showcases the venue.

The new Old Deanery website is built on a widely used blog platform called Wordpress which we have created a bespoke template for. Using Wordpress enables the site to have an easy to use Content Management System to control all the content on the site, so that the new Menus can be uploaded frequently and any Special Offers that they are running can be shown. It also gives the opportunity for the Latest News to be updated and for information about Ripon and the surrounding areas to be added easily.

The Old Deanery is in a wonderful setting in Ripon and is right opposite Ripon Cathedral. It is also only a couple of minutes walk from the Bronco offices so could be classed as our "local" when it comes to working lunches or entertaining clients. The interior of the building is very grand while remaining homely so the website design aims to bring in the images of the food, the interiors and the exterior while allowing users to navigate with a simple menu system. As the site has been built on Wordpress there are a great deal of extra plugins that can be added over time, and the next thing will probably be a Gallery to showcase even more of the wonderful pictures of the accommodation and the food.
