Broadband
Broadband is a term used to describe fast internet connection. Currently around 80% of the UK population is covered by Broadband and this is soon set to increase further as they complete the phases to spread the coverage into the rural communities.
Before Broadband, internet users had to dial in through a modem that would tie up the phone line. The major benefit of having a Broadband connection is that for a fixed monthly fee you have 24 hour connection, pay the same no matter how often you connect or how long you are connected for, and have the ability to use the phone line for a normal phone cal at the same time.
Bronco provides high speed internet connection to businesses and home users. The standard connection speed that we offer is up to 2mb, but we are now able to offer up to 8mb to some areas. Businesses that have had Broadband installed have seen a greater costs saving as their internet charges are greatly reduced. Having a faster connection in a workplace also means that employees work more efficiently if they need to carry out their work over the internet.
