Endurance, Focus, and Drive: Becky’s Journey to Six World Marathon Majors
Bronco’s founder and company director, Becky, has always embodied the values that define our agency – commitment, focus, and an unstoppable drive to achieve big goals. But this year, those qualities took her far beyond the office. In November 2025, Becky completed the Six World Marathon Majors, earning her place among a very small group of people worldwide who have achieved this remarkable feat.
Running six of the world’s most iconic marathons – London, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, Tokyo, and New York – requires more than fitness. It demands resilience, consistency, and careful planning over several years. Balancing that with the day-to-day responsibilities of running a busy digital agency makes the achievement even more impressive.
Running a Business and a Marathon
Becky’s marathon journey began humbly in 2017, when she started rugby training with Ripon Rugby Club ignited her love for endurance and fitness. That led to her first half marathon, the Great North Run in 2019, for Muscular Dystrophy UK, and from there, things escalated quickly. In 2021, she ran the London Marathon, securing a sort after Boston Qualifying Time and unintentionally setting off a four-year journey that would take her around the world.
After her first London, each race added another layer to her story: running Boston in 2022 to become a unicorn, powering through Chicago in 2023 just four days after Covid, getting a 3:29 Personal Best at Berlin in 2024, and securing a charity place to take part in Tokyo in early 2025. Finally, this autumn, she crossed the finish line in New York, completing all six and collecting the coveted Six Star Medal.
Across all six events, Becky has raised £8,000 for a range of charities, combining her passion for running with a commitment to giving back.
A Small Global Group
Only a handful of runners worldwide have achieved this milestone. In the UK, there are currently just 755 women who hold Six Star status, and globally 8182 women have completed all six races. It’s a rare club built on persistence, patience, and belief – traits that also define how Becky has led Bronco for more than two decades.
Running marathons has given Becky more than medals; it’s strengthened her problem-solving mindset, focus under pressure, and ability to balance short-term sprints with long-term goals, all qualities that resonate deeply in business leadership.
Leadership with Endurance
Alongside her training, Becky continues to lead Bronco, the Yorkshire based digital marketing agency she co-founded in 2003. Known for its flat, collaborative structure, Bronco thrives on mutual trust and teamwork, qualities that mirror endurance sports.
While overseeing projects, supporting clients, and steering the company’s strategy, Becky maintained the dedication required to complete months of marathon training blocks, early-morning runs, long weekend sessions, and the discipline to push through the cold Yorkshire winters. Her success is a reflection of the same mindset that underpins the agency’s ethos, consistent effort, team belief, and never losing sight of the finish line.
Her story has also been a source of inspiration within the company. The team at Bronco has watched Becky’s commitment first-hand, often seeing her head out for a training run before a full day of work and team meetings. That spirit of balance and determination has become part of the agency’s wider culture, reinforcing the idea that personal ambitions and professional success don’t have to compete, they can drive each other forward.
Beyond the Finish Line
Becky’s achievement doesn’t mark the end of her athletic journey. Over the past three years, she has also competed in HYROX fitness events, both solo and in mixed pairs, qualifying twice for the World Championships and even reaching the podium for her age group. She’s also passionate about trail and endurance running, regularly taking part in long-distance races across Yorkshire’s stunning countryside.
Now that she’s completed her Six Stars, Becky is already looking ahead to new challenges. True to the way she leads Bronco, her focus is on continuous improvement, pushing boundaries, exploring possibilities, and showing that with discipline and passion, balance between business and personal achievement is truly possible.

A Role Model for Endurance and Excellence
At Bronco, Becky’s journey represents more than athletic success. It’s a reminder of how mindset shapes outcomes, whether you’re building a brand, developing digital strategies, or training for 26.2 miles. The same focus and discipline that carried her through six major marathons across three continents are what continue to guide Bronco in delivering for clients every single day.
We’re proud of Becky for completing this incredible challenge and for demonstrating that endurance, in business, sport, and life, isn’t about speed. It’s about consistency, resilience, and the belief that with the right team beside you, no finish line is ever out of reach.
