Let’s Talk

The Bronco Big Walk: 17.5 Miles for MNDA

This April, the Bronco team are dusting off their walking boots and taking on a brand-new challenge – The Bronco Big Walk – all in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

On Friday, 24th April 2026, we’ll be swapping our desks and laptops for hiking boots and backpacks as we take on 17.5 miles (28 km) of stunning coastal terrain along the Cleveland Way, from Saltburn-by-the-Sea all the way down to Sandsend. It’s one of the most scenic routes in Yorkshire, but it’s also going to test our endurance, determination, and teamwork!

The walk will take us over rugged cliffs, through charming seaside villages, and along some of the most beautiful coastline in the country. We’ll start at Saltburn, follow the cliff path along Huntcliff, through Skinningrove and Staithes, before heading on to Port Mulgrave, Runswick Bay, and Kettleness, with our final stretch taking us into Sandsend. Oh, and did we mention the climb up Boulby Cliff? It’s the highest cliff on the East Coast at 660 ft (203 m) -just a small challenge to keep things interesting!

Why We’re Doing It

At Bronco, we’ve always loved throwing ourselves into a good challenge — especially when it’s for a great cause. Over the years we’ve taken on everything from Tough Mudder’s and Total Warrior’s for Muscular Dystrophy to an hour of nonstop burpees for Comic Relief. As a team, fitness and community spirit are a big part of what we do. Each week we take part in a group Bootcamp session to keep active and motivated, and it’s great to see that training being put to good use again!

This time, our mission is to raise money and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity that works tirelessly to support people living with MND and to fund crucial research into finding a cure. MND is a devastating condition that affects how nerves in the brain and spinal cord work, leading to muscle weakness and impacting daily life. The work MNDA does, from providing support to families to pushing forward scientific research, makes a huge difference, and we want to do our part to help.

Making Every Step Count

We’re under no illusions, 17.5 miles is a long way (especially if Yorkshire’s April weather decides to surprise us!). It’s going to be a real test of stamina, but we’re ready for the challenge. The team’s been talking about it non-stop — planning snacks, playlists, and making friendly bets about who’ll be leading the pack or who’ll be the first to ask, “Are we nearly there yet?”

But behind all the fun and team spirit is a genuine goal: to raise as much money as possible for MNDA. Every step we take, and every penny we raise, goes directly towards helping people living with this cruel disease and the families supporting them.

We’ll be sharing updates in the run-up to the big day, and of course, we’ll be posting plenty of photos from the walk itself. Keep an eye out across our social channels to cheer us on and follow our journey!

If you can, we’d love for you to support us by donating to our fundraising page. Every contribution, big or small, really does make a difference and helps MNDA continue the incredible work they do across the UK.
